Stream of Praise has always strived to be a channel of blessings to churches all over the world. Therefore, using our songs during church service, wedding, conference, and cell group worship is completely free of charge, and no application is required. If your church is a member of CCLI www.ccli.com, we do kindly ask you to submit the copy report to CCLI regularly.  

A. Church usage of lyrics or songs
Condition: No application necessary if lyrics or song usage (not including music scores) is limited to the list below, and there is no intention of publishing, recording or selling.

Usage: Church Sunday service, fellowship, small group, wedding, memorial service, church/non-profit organization retreat or handbook, church bulletin/catalog, Pro Presenter, translation to native language.

B. Church Service Video/Audio Live Recording
Condition: No application necessary if usage is limited to the list below and there is no intention of publishing, recording or selling.

Usage:
1.Church Service Video/Audio Live Recording on CD/DVD up to 100 copies. For more than 100 copies, please fill out our copyright application.
2.Church Sunday Service Live Recording for Display on Church Web Page

C. Arrangement/Rearrangement SOP Songs
Condition: No application necessary if usage is limited to the list below and there is no intention of publishing, recording or selling.

Usage:  Church only

A. Choir, String, Piano, Drum or other instrument score Print License 

Condition: Scores printed are for individual church use only and not for sale.

Fee Schedule:
a. Free of charge, maximum 3 songs and 5 copies per song.
b. USD$1.75 per copy, per song, for 6-50 copies
c. USD$1.25 per copy for quantities between 51-100 copies
d. USD$1.00 per copy, per song thereafter

A. Songbook Commercial Digital or Print License (ISBN)
Condition: Songbook reprinted for commercial distribution.

Fee: USD$.091 per copy, per song.

B. Songbook Non-Commercial Print License
Condition: To print a song from a SOP publication songbook for more than 5 copies.

Fee Schedule:
a. USD$0.75 per copy, per song, for 6-150 copies
b. USD$0.55 per copy for quantities between 151-249 copies
c. USD$0.45 per copy, per song thereafter

C. Song Lyric Print License (ISBN)
Condition: Song Lyric printed for commercial distribution

Fee: USD$.12 per copy, per song if over 5 copies or over 3 songs.

A. Non-Commercial Video License
Condition: Use SOP song as background music in video production for personal & church events (weddings, celebrations, funerals, fund raising or promotion videos). For DVDs and VCDs.

Fee Schedule:
a. Free if 100 copies or less
b. USD$0.091 per copy, per song, over 100 copies

B. Commercial Video Synchronization License
Condition: For song usage in a video. Songs can be actual “on-screen” performances by an artist or group, or an “off-screen” performance by studio musicians, to serve as background or source music.

Fee: USD$0.15 per copy, per song

C. Motion Picture Synchronization License
Condition: To use a song in a feature film theatrical release as a theme, background music or source music. Either the original artist recording or one prepared by studio musicians.

Fee: One-time fee. Contact us for a quote.

D. CD/DVD Synchronization License
Condition: To use a song together with visual images contained on a CD/DVD disk.

Fee: USD$0.091 per song, per disk copy

A. Non-Commercial Mechanical License 

Condition: To record a song onto a vinyl, CD, cassette, etc. Project is made and distributed at the expense of an individual or group.

Fee: As revised by the Library of Congress, the statutory rate is US$0.091 per copy, per song for songs five minutes and under; songs over five minutes in length are US$0.0175 per minute rounding up to the next minute (e.g. a song that is 6’01 in length would be rounded to 7 minutes and multiplied by 0.0175).

B. Commercial Mechanical License
Condition: To record a song onto a vinyl, CD, cassette, etc. Project is made, distributed and promoted at the expense of a record label.

Fee: As revised by the Library of Congress, the statutory rate is US$0.091 per copy, per song for songs five minutes and under; songs over five minutes in length are US$0.0175 per minute rounding up to the next minute (e.g. a song that is 6’01 in length would be rounded to 7 minutes and multiplied by 0.0175).

C. Accompaniment Track License
Condition: To record a song using Stream of Praise MMO (music track) onto a CD, cassette, etc.

Fee: The statutory rate is US$0.091 per copy, per song for songs five minutes and under; songs over five minutes in length are US$0.0175 per minute rounding up to the next minute (e.g. a song that is 6’01 in length would be rounded to 7 minutes and multiplied by 0.0175).

D. MIDI License
Condition: To use a song in a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) product, containing digital information on CD/DVD, which can be altered. Fee: The statutory rate is US$0.091 per copy, per song.

E. TV Commercial Synchronization License 
Condition: To use a song in a TV commercial, license term is one year.

A. Online Lyric Display 

Condition: Free to display the lyrics (not including guitar chords, numbered musical notation, or music sheet) of a song on a web page.

B. Internet Performance License
Condition: To play a song (or part of a song) on a web site for promotional purposes only (i.e., website designed to promote the activities of a church, civic group, etc.). Free if use under 1 song and have no intention of selling or publishing.

Fee: USD$50 per song for a one year license term for more than one song.

C. Website Usage License/Commercial Digital Phonorecord License
Condition: Use of a song by a record label or other corporate entity, as a downloadable audio file delivered via the internet.

Fee: The retail price must be between US$0.90-US$1.50 per song, per download. Our fee begins at 25% pro-rata of the retail-selling price of the download.

D. Commercial Digital Online Print License
Condition: Use of a song from a songbook by a record label or other corporate entity, as a downloadable digital print delivered via the internet.

Fee: Your retail price must be between US$0.75-US$1.50 per song, per download. Our fee begins at 25% pro-rata of the retail-selling price of the download.

E. Non-Commercial YouTube Usage License
Condition: To play a song (or part of a song) on Youtube for promotional purposes only (i.e., promote the church event, christian nonprofit group, etc.).

Fee: Application is required but no additional licensing fee is needed, please include the copyright case under in the video description.

F. Commercial YouTube Usage License & Cover Music
Condition: To play a song (or part of a song) on a monetized video or cover music on YouTube.

Fee:
(1) If original Stream of Praise song track is used (including MMO), and video is recognized by YouTube content ID, application is required but no additional licensing fee is needed, please include the copyright case under in the video description.

(2) If a different musical arrangement is used, the video is not recognized by YouTube content ID, please use the following guidelines to submit and pay for the licensing fees, copyright case number must be included in the video description.

Less than 1000 subscribers: application is required but no additional licensing fee is needed.
1000~10,000 subscribers: USD$50 per song for two year license term.
10,000~100,000 subscribers: USD$100 per song for two year license term.
More than 100,000 subscribers: USD$200 per song for two year license term.

If your subscriber increase to the next tier within your original licensing term, you must submit another copyright case with us within 30 days.

A. Web Broadcast License 

Condition: To broadcast any Stream of Praise song on your website or web program. License term varies from one (1) month to one (1) year. If you currently hold a BMI broadcasting license, no application is necessary.

Fee: Contact us for a quote.

B. Radio Broadcast License
Condition: To broadcast any Stream of Praise song on local or regional radio stations/radio programs. License term varies from one (1) month to one (1) year. If you currently hold a BMI broadcasting license, no application is necessary.

Fee: Contact us for a quote.

C. Television Broadcast License
Condition: To broadcast any Stream of Praise song on your local television station/ program. License term varies from one (1) month to one (1) year. If you currently hold a BMI broadcasting license, no application is necessary.

A. For-Profit Business/Organization Usage License 

Condition: To play any Stream of Praise song at your for-profit business/organization (For example: restaurants, coffee shops, private hospitals, bookstores...etc). 

Fee: Free for a year after application is received. Must reapply yearly.

B. Frequent Non-Profit Organization Usage License
Condition: To play any Stream of Praise song frequently at your non-profit organization (For example: tour performances, school recess time...etc). 

Fee: Free after application is received.

C. One-Time Non-Profit Organization Usage License
Condition: To play any Stream of Praise song one-time at your non-profit organization events (For example: ceremonies, charity concert...etc).

Fee: Free after application is received.
