SOP Legacy App Service Update
To continue improving the user experience and provide enhanced features and services, Stream of Praise will be focusing its development and maintenance efforts on the new SOP App.
The SOP Legacy App PRO version will continue to be available for purchase; however, it will no longer receive feature support or content updates. Content in the Legacy App will be maintained through Praise & Worship Album 30. All future albums, songs, and related updates will be available exclusively in the new SOP App.
Users who purchase the Legacy App PRO version will continue to have access to all included sheet music and existing features.
Current SOP PREMIUM subscribers may continue using their subscription until the end of their current subscription term. However, new SOP PREMIUM subscriptions will no longer be available. After your subscription expires, we invite you to transition to the new SOP App to access the latest content and services.

1. Why did Stream of Praise launch a new app?
In the past, Stream of Praise offered multiple apps, including a free version, lyrics version, guitar chords version, sheet music version, and a Premium subscription service. Because each app provided different content and features, many users were confused about which app to download and which version they needed.
In addition, new albums and songs could not be automatically delivered to all users and often required separate purchases or updates.
The new Stream of Praise App brings everything together into a single platform. Now you only need one app to access music, lyrics, sheet music, guitar chords, worship planning tools, and cloud-based services.
2. Why does the new app use a subscription model?
Stream of Praise continues to create new worship music and invests significant resources into producing sheet music, chord charts, recordings, and digital content.
The subscription model allows us to continue releasing new albums, songs, sheet music, feature updates, and cloud services while providing ongoing technical support.
Your subscription not only gives you access to the latest content and features, but also supports the ongoing ministry and music production of Stream of Praise.
3. I purchased the legacy PRO App. Can I upgrade to the new app for free?
No.
The legacy PRO App and the new Stream of Praise App are different platforms with different service models. Therefore, purchases made in the legacy app cannot be converted into subscriptions for the new app.
However, any content you previously purchased in the legacy app will remain available to you.
4. Can I still use the legacy app?
Yes.
Depending on your purchased version, you can continue accessing existing content, including:
- Praise & Worship Albums 1–30
- Children's Worship Albums 1–13
- Heaven Come Series
- Instrumental Series
- Other content already included in the legacy app
All existing features in the legacy app will continue to function as they do today.
If you currently have a Premium subscription, it will remain active until the end of your subscription period.
Future albums, songs, and new features will be released primarily through the new Stream of Praise App.
5. Why are there different subscription plans?
Different users have different needs.
Some users simply want to listen to worship music, while worship team members may need sheet music, chord charts, transposition tools, and worship planning resources.
That's why we created separate plans so users only pay for the features they need.
We also offer an All Access Plan that combines both music streaming and worship service features into a single subscription.
6. What's the difference between Music, Worship Service, and All Access plans?
Music Plan – Designed for users who primarily want to listen to Stream of Praise music.
Worship Service Plan – Designed for worship leaders, musicians, and worship teams who need lyrics, sheet music, chord charts, transposition, and worship setlists.
All Access Plan – Includes all features and content from both the Music and Worship Service plans.
7. Will new albums continue to be added to the app?
Yes.
The new Stream of Praise App will continue to receive future albums, singles, sheet music, and other worship resources.
With an active subscription, you will have access to newly released content without needing to purchase each album separately.
8. I already have a Stream of Praise account. Do I need to register again?
Yes.
The new app uses a completely new account system and is not connected to the Stream of Praise Store or the legacy Channel Membership system.
You will need to create a new account for the new Stream of Praise App.
9. How many devices can I use with one account?
Each account may be logged in on up to 3 devices at the same time.
Your favorites, playlists, worship setlists, and notes can be synchronized across your authorized devices.
10. Can I use the same subscription on both Android and iOS?
No.
Android and iOS subscriptions are managed separately by Google Play and the Apple App Store.
If you switch platforms, a new subscription will be required on the new platform.
11. Do Android and iOS have the same features?
Most features are available on both platforms, including music playback, lyrics, sheet music, chord charts, transposition, search, worship setlists, offline downloads, and cloud synchronization.
Currently, the Android version does not support handwritten annotations. All other major features are available.
12. How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
After cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

All Kids Devotional book is now updated to 2021 version, now in 3 languages, traditional chinese, simplified Chinese, and English, according to age A, B, for K-8.
** if you already downloaded 2020 devotional book, you will need to delete the app and reinstall get the new 2021 version devotional book.
** this update will delete all the notes/markings you have made on the book, if you have any notes you would want to save/keep, please use the EXPORT to PDF function then update the app.
